Loud, proud and combative! In a world where queer, trans and BIPoC communities are under increasing pressure worldwide, the Ballroom is becoming an increasingly important place of resistance – a space of self-empowerment, visibility and radical creativity. Ballroom was never ‘just’ art – it was and is an act of rebellion, a vibrant manifesto of queer will to live.
The House of Saint Laurent invites you to a night of empowerment, elegance and unwavering pride. Together with all participants, it celebrates the power of past liberation movements, recalls queer history and calls for new courage, cohesion and action.
Whether on the catwalk, in the spotlight or on the edge of the dance floor – now is the time to be loud. Now is the time to stay visible. Now is the time to make a statement.

Travelling to HAU2 via U Hallesches Tor:
If you are coming from Hallesches Tor underground station, you will have to use an alternative footpath from Wilhelmstraße / Hallesches Ufer junction, which is separated from the carriageway by a construction fence – the actual footpath is currently closed. Please note: the alternative route is also used by cyclists. Pedestrians should keep to the right. We therefore currently recommend that visually impaired or blind visitors come to the HAU with an accompanying person.
Arrival HAU2 via U Möckernbrücke:
When you leave Möckernbrücke underground station, please stay on the footpath on the canal side until you reach Hallesches Ufer / Großbeerenstraße junction – the opposite side is currently closed due to construction work.
