In January 2013 Davis Freeman and Sylvia Habermann were guests at the Houseclub. In collaboration with the houseclub-teenagers they explored group dynamics as well as the notions of collectivity and self-discipline. They put them in situations in which not all participants knew what was about to happen, in which the teenagers momentarily lost control over what was to come and had to adapt to the group’s rhythm. They did not explicitly intervene in the group's dynamics, but Davis Freeman and Sylvia Habermann observed the participants in order to draw conclusions about the structures of the different groups. In certain cases the teenagers started calling on the others to shush and began to pay attention to the group dynamics themselves. In other cases they were overwhelmed by these situations and used them as an opportunity for self-display.
