Performative walk from the Houseclub to Mehringplatz
By and with Huda El-Sharkawy, Cennet Alkan and students of Hector-Peterson-Schule
Part of “Berlin bleibt! #4”
Part of “Eleven years of Houseclub”

  • Performance

The class 9B1 of the Hector Peterson School is creating an activist alphabet loosely based on talents: Who are we, and who is actually shaping our future? What can we learn from each other? What does each individual student need and demand for a communal life on equal terms in this city? Let's find out!

With their alphabet, the pupils will parade through the neighbourhood from the Houseclub to Mehringplatz: quietly, in a flash mob, sensitively, loudly or radically tenderly? With posters, flyers, allies or something else completely?
