Transforming Acts | a TANZFONDS ERBE project

InstallationTanz im August

The installation can be visited like a regular exhibition anytime between 17:00 until 22:00.

This video kaleidoscope is a reading of how dance has stimulated avant-garde theatre since the 1970s and vice versa. History is brought to life by archive material on pioneering productions from the late 20th century and current reflections from Laurent Chétouane, Jan Fabre, Thomas Lehmen, Meg Stuart, Robert Wilson, VA Wölfl and others.

A project by Internationales Theaterinstitut, (ITI), Berlin. Funded by TANZFONDS ERBE Fonds für künstlerische Projekte zum Kulturerbe Tanz - an initiative of Kulturstiftung des Bundes.
