For the Plattenspieler in March Thomas Meinecke meets with musician and writer Jochen Distelmeyer. Distelmeyer’s roots are in the musical microcosm of Bad Salzuflen in East Westphalia during the ‘80s. After moving to Hamburg he developed, along with his band Blumfeld, into one of Germany’s most influential pop musicians. Since the band broke up he has been publishing his music solo. In 2015 he also published his debut novel “Otis”.
