Ein Generationenportrait von She She Pop und Gästen

Six women open up the drawers of their memories. Three of them grew up in West Germany, three in the East. Twenty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, they resolve to get a little closer to one another. So they reach back into autobiographical material: letters, diaries, each of their inner visual archives, and music. She She Pop and their colleagues from the East profess to a diversity of voices, to collective narration. The gaps, imprecision, and missing connections are all part of the system. Who were we? Who are we? Why did we turn out this way?
