An afternoon for Hans-Thies Lehmann

Hans-Thies Lehmann, one of the most influential theatre scholars in the world, died on 16 July. His book “Postdramatic Theatre” (1999) created an epoch. He taught pioneering theatre makers such as René Pollesch, Falk Richter, Hans-Werner Kroesinger and Helena Waldmann and the artist collectives Rimini Protokoll, She She Pop, Gob Squad, Showcase Beat Le Mot and andcompany&Co. Along with further guests, they will reflect on a professor who taught the art of not understanding, openness to others and the desire for something new.
