Part of “Who Owns the World?”

For everyone from the age of 10

  • Theatre
German /  approx. 90 min.

On the school playground, it’s all about being in or out. Are you a loner, or do you fit in? What does school actually teach while everyone talks about equal opportunities? It’s time to hand over the class issue to those who really get it. Based on interviews with Berlin pupils, a snapshot of a generation emerges. This new play by theatre director and filmmaker Adrian Figueroa, with a script by novelist, playwright, and screenwriter Maike Wetzel, tells of dreams, fears, and questions about the future. At full force, the class powers across the stage, supported by the young musicians of the drum line BÄM! and with choreography by Kadir “Amigo” Memiş, founding member of the breakdance group Flying Steps.
